Musings and Snippets from a recently retired JP. I served for 31 years, mostly in west London. I was Chairman of my Bench for some years, and a member of the National Bench Chairmen's Forum All cases are based on real ones, but anonymised and composited. All opinions are those of one or more individuals. JPs swear to enforce the law of the land, whether or not they approve of it. Nothing on here constitutes legal advice.

And congrats to justifiably proud grandad too! Break out the Brakespear's or even the bubbly (I'm fearful of suggesting anything specifically French, because it is likely to trigger an immediate Advisory Committee referral, if not a call for me to be prosecuted for treason from my Bench Chair, who makes the Daily Mail look even-handed and non-judgmental).
ReplyDeleteAlthough we talk about lots of things legal on this blog it is lovely to have a break BS and to think for a moment about the really important things in life. A new grandchild is a reason to be very proud and thankyou for allowing us to celebrate with you.
ReplyDelete:-) Will you be visiting and reporting back to us on Columbian justice?
ReplyDeleteGrandchildren are wonderful. Wish we had them first.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on becoming a grandad again.
